The Daily Pencil

Hello!

I just want everyone to know about a awesome new blog that I am starting up with a few friends of mine and its called The Daily Pencil. I am writing this blog mainly to figure out how to run a site and work in wordpress and for many other reasons. My team and I will be writing about pretty much anything we can think of. It should be fun and hopefully successful. I have already had some fun with it and think that it will be a great sports blog, news blog, business blog and much more. Football is Back!!!

Football is back and its amazing!!! I got the chance to go to the BYU game vs. Washington State. It was a good fun game. BYU started out looking really good... Granted it was against a team that wasn't to good or impressive. BYU started to sputter a bit towards the end. Overall it was a fun experience and I had a great time with my lovely wife. I'm currently watching the Michigan vs. Alabama... so far its all Alabama who's defense looks incredible. If Alabama can keep a defense like this all season I think it would be fun to watch them go up against USC. In other better and most important... Wisconsin won their first game of the season! I hope we can make it to the Rose Bowl again. Maybe the third time is a charm! Plus I would love to see the Utah Utes make it some some how and then get their clocks cleaned! The Utes are stupid!

The Amazing Spider-Man

This is a review for the movie The Amazing Spider-Man! To start off I just want to say that I didn't hate the old Spider mans with Tobey Maguire but I really didn't enjoy their view of Spider man, and lets be honest Tobey Maguire isn't all that great (unless he is Eric from That 70's Show). The new Spider man movie though is so much better and I loved watching it. I thought that Andrew Garfield did a great job as Spider man and reminded me of the Peter Parker that I grew up with in the 90's. One thing that made me really happy is that they had the lizard where the lab jacket from the cartoons and comics.  The action is great and the fights between him and Lizard were fun and entertaining. The movie did such a better job than the older ones of making Spider man a smarter character who knew how to out smart his enemies. This movie is so promising for the reboot and hopefully there will be a solid sequel and maybe Venom will finally get the credit he deserves. Also the last thing I want to talk about is the scene after the credit with the Lizard in prison and had a strange visitor with him. The character stood in the shadows asking if Peter Parker knew anything about his parents, and walked off. Leaving this open for a sequel of some kind. I have been reading articles all over the web trying to figure it out and I honestly think that it was Arnim Zola from the Captain America series. I read on wiki that Peter Parkers parents were spying on the Red Skull and ended up getting caught and were killed by the finisher, who in turn rigged their airplane so it would crash and killing the victims inside. Thus tying Spider Man into the amazingness that we all love and call The Avengers!!!

Recently a article was published on TODAY health that will change the way I look at dieting. Right now Im trying to get back into shape so I can look stellar for my big wedding day with the love of my life. This article that Im sharing with you just proves that I can have cake and ice cream for breakfast... Sounds like heaven if you ask me.

I've decided that I want to try this whole blog thing out again. The first time really didn't work because I didn't know what to write about or how really. I feel a little more confident this time and feel like I can be more creative in my writing and my post. This site really wont have a direction, sometimes Ill talk about music, movies, sports or completely random things. Sometimes it will be funny while other times just plain simple and to the point.
